Mt. Baker Products, Inc. manufactures totally custom, decorative hardwood plywood, delivering to your exact specifications. The company was founded in 1993 and is based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
All Mt. Baker hardwood plywood is manufactured using PlyClear, our soy based, eco-friendly, no added formaldehyde adhesive (NAF). Manufacturing hardwood plywood in our own facility gives the ability to work with customers to identify the right product at the best value.
Since our inception, we have grown and evolved into the highly specialized custom manufacturing facility that we are today.
History of the Mill
Our Beginnings:
In the 1930s, Bellingham Bay was dredged to create the land where our facility now stands—an effort that provided much-needed jobs during a difficult era. Originally established as a furniture manufacturer, the company transitioned exclusively to plywood production in 1949.
A New Chapter:
In 1993, the current ownership purchased the company, breathing new life into the business. Over the past 30 years, we’ve evolved into a premier manufacturer of high-end, custom panels, continually adapting to meet the needs of our customers.

What is NAF?
It stands for No-Added Formaldehyde. All of our panels are produced using our PlyClear (registered trademark) Soy Based No-Added Formaldehyde Adhesive.
Can I order wood without knots or splits?
MBP woods that are labeled “Natural,” “Knotty,” or “Character” are not for you. We have many “Clear” grade options to suit your needs.
