Thermally-Fused Laminates (TFL) are decorative surfaces created by fusing a printed or solid-color paper layer directly onto a composite wood core (such as particleboard or MDF) using heat and pressure. The process activates resin in the paper, bonding it to the core without requiring adhesives.
